Workshops

Players attend weekly mandatory workshops. The workshops follow an age and gender-appropriate core curriculum that addresses the following issues: health (including STDs, HIV, substance abuse, nutrition); education (school, cultural awareness); family relations (including domestic violence, teen pregnancy, parenting); employment (including job preparation, resume writing, being a good employee) and consumer intelligence (including establishing credit, learning to save, spending money wisely). Players learn about goal setting and then set three goals for themselves.
